Structured Links
Dessix places structured links at the core of system design, supporting organic connection of related information, conveying semantics and context in human-AI collaboration.
Core Capabilities
- Generalized
@mentionmechanism: Not limited to Note links, extended to all Block types within the system - Strongly associated semantic context: Linked content automatically participates in AI collaboration context construction
- Bidirectional link tracking: Automatically records and displays all reference relationships
- Semantic alignment consistency: Ensures user and AI understanding of link relationships is consistent
Link Mechanism
Generalized Link Model
In Dessix, any entity defined as a Block can be linked via @mention, including:
- Notes and Articles
- Threads
- Actions and Scenes
- Folders and Collections
- External content such as Twitter posts
Supports associating different types of information in a unified semantic network.

Strong Association Semantics
@mention link behavior logic:
- When linking two Blocks via
@mention, declaring semantic association between them - System records this strong association and automatically includes it in AI collaboration context
- Linked content participates in thinking and creation process as high-priority semantic context
Bidirectional Tracking
Dessix automatically maintains bidirectional reference relationships:
- Each Block displays "who it references" and "who references it"
- System automatically constructs and updates reference relationships
- Supports tracking information sources and impact

Human-Machine Alignment
User and AI understanding of link relationships remains consistent:
- When establishing links via
@mention, system simultaneously informs AI of this relationship's existence - AI automatically considers strongly associated contexts when processing related content
- Relationships emphasized by users are equally valued by AI
